I personally think the game looks even better than Origins. Looks beautiful.

Comment by Canyarion, on 16.08.2012 at 17:08

Has it...?[/quote]I've read it somewhere, that they're using (cell-shaded?) polygons. If you look at the other trailers, you can clearly see it.

I guess I'm crazy for
a) noticing that right from the start and
b) thinking Origins looked better.

Comment by meeto_0, on 16.08.2012 at 11:28

Its weird because this games looks like it should be coming from nintendo. The new control really seems to be fully integrated into the game. Almost as if ubisoft have had the longest time with the controller.
Where as NSMB WiiU looks like they tacked on the control features. Pikmin doesnt really seem to need it either.
At the start of wiiUs life the only games from nintendo that fully incorporate the controller are mini games.

I hope we dont have to wait 6yrs for a game LIKE skyward sword.

Comment by Guest, on 16.08.2012 at 07:36

The game will eventually come to other platforms in the future. Its only a matter of time. ;)

Still, day one buy for the Wii U version!:D

Comment by Mush, on 16.08.2012 at 00:02

Has it...?

Comment by TAG, on 15.08.2012 at 18:46

Looks fun, but the trailer makes me wonder why you would use your TV at all for this game. It seems like you'll be looking down at your controller a lot. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I definitely hope it doesn't become a trend.

Comment by Agul, on 15.08.2012 at 18:19

GIMME! GIMME! I'm glad it's out at or right after launch.

Also... it's not 2D graphics, is it? It's been confirmed 3D.

Comment by jb, on 15.08.2012 at 14:24

This post is a copy of the news report: http://www.cubed3.com/news/17104All posts made in this forum topic below will appear as news comments on the above link. If you make a comment on the original article link above, it will also appear here as a forum post.Ubisoft have revealed a new trailer for upcoming Wii U title Rayman Legends at this year's Gamescom convention.

The new footage demonstrates some of the GamePad mechanics as players work alone, or with a partner, across dangerous new levels rendered in rather fabulous 2D artwork. Initially a "possible exclusive", the trailer also confirms that the new game will be launching only on Wii U in time for Santa's delivery this festive season. Whether or not the game will eventually go multiplatform is unknown, however.

We thoroughly enjoyed our play-through with the game at E3Â and with the title now exclusive to Nintendo's upcoming box, multiplayer excitement is growing here at Cubed3 HQ.

Will you be leaping, swiping and gliding with our limbless hero and his chums this Christmas on Wii U?
