I'm wondering if there will be a small learning curve in operating the controller itself, contrasting Nintendo's recent trend of "pick up and play" type operations. Just a small thought.

On the console itself, though, I think I might wait until a later time. It has a somewhat solid release lineup, but I have to pick up the 3DS first before I decide to make the plunge into another game console. As much as I am dying to get my hands on it, I'll just twiddle my thumbs (preferably on a 3DS stick) and wait.Â

Comment by SuperLink, on 21.09.2012 at 21:06

I'd like to think Nintendo have been working on Zelda WiiU for some time already, perhaps even a year or more.

Would be nice if we could get a Zelda announcement tminus1 year before release for once :P

Comment by Azuardo, on 21.09.2012 at 20:53
There was a Zelda launch title that was available day one...so I'm worried for you. :P[/quote]
Which was a GC game. Skyward was really the only Zelda made just for Wii. They know it took too long to come out, though, so hopefully inside a couple of years from now we'll have our Wii U Zelda.

Comment by Sonic_13, on 21.09.2012 at 20:47
There was a Zelda launch title that was available day one...so I'm worried for you. :P

Comment by Nilavae, on 19.09.2012 at 23:13

As long as Zelda doesn't take as long as it did for the Wii I'll be fine. : )

Comment by EdEN, on 18.09.2012 at 16:25

I've pre-ordered a Deluxe Bundle, and I'll be getting NSMB U and Zombi U, and maybe an extra game or two.

Comment by meeto_0, on 18.09.2012 at 09:53

I have to agree that there isnt that one killer app for launch. I couldnt care less for NSMB. That franchise is dead to me (with the exceotion of the gold coins on 3DS)

However Im still buying one of the deluxe models and look forward to playing ZombieU and Rayman.

I didnt realise it had such impressive RAM specs. Coupled with a bought SSD I imagine a game like GTA5 would be amazing on the Wii U

Comment by Azuardo, on 17.09.2012 at 17:44
Yes, Guest, yes!

Comment by Guest, on 17.09.2012 at 17:41

If a TimeSplitters game was announced for the WiiU, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Comment by Azuardo, on 16.09.2012 at 23:47

Indeed, Jacob, but we knew this even since what was shown at E3. There isn't anything to offer players like you and myself right now, and it will likely stay this way for a year. This is why I talk about Nintendo needing to carry on that trend of Bayo 2 and now pursue other exclusive third party games. Else, the only thing worth buying a Wii U for is the Nintendo titles. If we're going to think about the Wii U becoming the console of choice for Call of Duty/FIFA players, well that's just not going to happen. But to get more PS3/360 fans on board, they'll have to do more than ports and Nintendo games, because that just won't be enough.
