Ayane, the purple&#45;haired female ninja that many will recognise from the <i>Dead or Alive </i>series, is now a playable character in the Wii U edition, complete with her own set of moves similar to her appearance in <i>Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, </i>and brand new story scenes have been made to explain her role in <i>Razor&#39;s Edge.</i> <br/> <br/>The Wii U GamePad displays additional information to the player, as well as lets you select weapons, perform Ninpo, and even has an option to play the game using the touch screen, similar to the Nintendo DS&#39; <i>Ninja Gaiden&#58; Dragon Sword</i>. Some more of the additions made to the Wii U version include improved AI, new enemy types and battle areas, plus exclusive weapons like Dual Katanas and the Lunar Staff.
