It’s been a little while coming, but Cubed3 has now levelled up!

We’ve got a brand-new look, a new platform and the same mission: helping you discover the best games to play.

Independent Video Game Reviews Since 2003

For those of you unfamiliar with Cubed3, the site began in 2003. Funded by a cheque from founder Jorge’s mum and a dream (as cliché as that sounds).

Cubed3 has evolved over the years (we’re now on version 12), but our core focus remains: independent, honest, and trusted reviews.

If a game is truly exceptional, it gets the praise it deserves. If it doesn’t hit the mark, we won’t sugar-coat it. In-depth, never rushed, and brutally honest – that’s the Cubed3 way.

Distraction Free Reading

The old Cubed3 was packed with features – from interactive quizzes to tournaments, game collections to daily news, and even a Wii-compatible version!

But at our heart, it’s always been about video game reviews, tech reviews and gaming insights.

The new design puts this front and centre.

Clear, distraction-free reading. Minimal ads. Bold visuals. A streamlined, modern UI – whether you’re on desktop or mobile. There’s even a new Dark Mode feature, for more comfy reading.

Our refreshed design tells the story behind each game, with vibrant art, clean formatting, and that all-important Cubed3 rating!

Spotlight on Iconic Game Series

We’ve also introduced dedicated pages for popular video game series – from Super Mario to Final Fantasy, Pokémon to Minecraft.

The older forums brought a lot of like-minded fans together, with plenty of fond memories that remain embedded in Cubed3 history. While the old forums and comment sections didn’t make the migration, the Cubed3 spirit lives on!

For those curious, the “Last Post Wins” topic had 8047 replies since 2007. The winner? Well…
