John is a London-based writer, artist and student. He was introduced to the world of gaming fairly late, one of his first experiences being Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on the PC, where he probably spent more time staring at loading screens than playing the actual game itself. He soon moved onto Nintendo consoles and quickly became a Zelda fanatic - it was around that time he also discovered a love for game music.

Though John enjoys a variety of genres, the music of Final Fantasy has always been a firm favourite of his. He is adamant that the OSTs for FFXI and FFXIII-2, while flawed, are criminally underrated masterpieces.

In his spare time, John also enjoys writing, reading, art, and cakes of all types. He is an avid fan of Harry Potter, The Beatles, Kraftwerk, the TV show Community, and rhythm games - he dreams of one day conquering every single song in Cytus, but this has unfortunately become an increasingly difficult achievement to pull off as time goes on.
