Day-by-Day Breakdown: A Heavy Metal Odyssey
Day 1: Setting the Tone
The opening day kicked off with intense energy, setting a high bar for the weekend. Standout performances included Evil Scarecrow, Heavysaurus, Cryptopsy, and Saxon. With only a handful of acts, Day 1 is the usual: pitch your tent, grab your drink of choice and warm up for the next few days of carnage.

Day 2: Relentless Riffs and Re-emergences
Day two maintained the steady momentum with a diverse line-up bridging party anthems to industrial darkness, and classic thrash. Highlights included sets from Party Cannon, Skynd, Fit For An Autopsy, Biohazard, Sellsword, Seething Akira, and Sepultura delivering a triumphant UK farewell performance, with the night culminated in crushing headline sets from Wednesday 13 on the Sophie Lancaster and Lamb of God hitting the mainstage.

Day 3: Genre-Crossing Chaos
Mid-weekend madness took over Day 3, showcasing everything from Irish folk-infused heavy grooves to brutal death metal. The day featured a true modern metal buffet including bands like, The Scratch, Northlane, Bleed From Within, Froglord, Sanguisugabogg, Dosed, and Goat Major, and the usual smattering of other top notch acts on the smaller side stages, finally capped off by the ferocious headliners, Slaughter to Prevail Setting the stage alight with their raw power and commanding energy. There was no stopping the mosh pits from forming.

Day 4: A Monumental Finale
The festival closed with a blistering final lineup, truly cementing the 25th anniversary in the history books. With high-octane sets that were delivered by the likes of Graphic Nature, Castle Rat, Orbit Culture, Black Label Society, Mushroomhead, Dream State, Trivax, Wrex, and many more before heavy metal royalty Judas Priest brought the house down.

Evening affairs
Once the days music had come to a close, most nights there was still a buzz of communality spirit, drunken highs and music into the early hours of the morn.
With a myriad of acts playing late at night, from DJ’s silent discos and a fan favorite the Limp Bizkit cover act Chocolate Starfish.
The New Blood Stage: Championing the Underground
In an era where rising acts struggle for festival slots and media coverage, along comes Bloodstock’s Metal to the Masses initiative remains a vital lifeline for the underground scene.
Through a nationwide battle of the bands across the UK, M2TM provides grassroots talent the chance to earn a spot on the prestigious New Blood Stage. Though they may lack the stadium-filling numbers of the main stage giants, their raw intensity and fiercely loyal fanbases prove the future of heavy metal is in safe hands.

The RAM Gallery: Art, History & Heritage
A cherished festival tradition, the RAM Gallery once again delivered a museum-grade exhibition celebrating heavy metal history alongside fine artwork by festival founder Paul Gregory.
To mark the quarter-century milestone, the 2026 gallery showcased:
- Custom Guitars: Intricately crafted instruments themed specifically around festival giants Saxon and Judas Priest.
- Priest Heritage Display: An exclusive exhibit featuring an iconic stage-worn jacket from Judas Priest’s personal archives.
- 25 Years of History: Commemorative art pieces representing every year of Bloodstock’s run, each hand-signed by artists who performed that year.
- Live Painting Installation: A dynamic art piece created continuously over the weekend to honor the Bloodstock 2026 roster
