Looking to buy official Nintendo merchandise, all whilst listening to familiar jingles in a room full of fans? This week the first Nintendo UK pop-up store in London launched at the Westfield London Shopping Centre, with a whole host of favourites and Tokyo exclusives!
The Nintendo UK pop-up store in London opens to the public from 22nd October to 16th November 2025, with walk-ins from 27th October to 16th November (ticketed entry before the 27th is sold out).
Thanks to the folk at Nintendo UK, Cubed3 had a browse to discover what goodies fans will be able to gobble up before doors open to the public (without breaking in during the night, promise!).
A History of Nintendo Flagship Stores
Across the pond in the United States, Nintendo has had a flagship store in New York since 2005; a two-floor haven for gamers, with a mix of both history and merchandise. The meeting point for iconic Nintendo Direct presentations, most notably Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighter Pass reveals. Recently the US arm also opened an additional location in San Francisco, too!
Nintendo’s home turf has three locations, too, with a fourth on the way – essential stops for fans planning that dream Japan visit. Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto – take note.
Is it worth visiting the Nintendo UK pop-up store in London?
For years fans in Europe have dreamed of a Nintendo physical store. A place to part with real money instead of saving up loyalty points for exclusive goodies (remember Club Nintendo?). Having visited the US Nintendo store over a decade ago, does the Nintendo UK pop-up store in London have the same magic? Short answer? Yes!
Wedged within the bright lights of Westfield London, the same location for 2019’s Pokemon pop-up, Nintendo has put on a colourful spread of merchandise that is difficult to resist! Certainly a fair bit of “umming and ahhing” before heading to the checkout.
Nintendo UK Pop-up Store London Prices
Head through the doors and pick up a Nintendo Tokyo or Osaka t-shirt to pretend you’re on a secret trip to the Land of the Rising Sun. Speaking of Japan, to the side are mini statues (£39.99) with fan favourites – Mario, Inkling, Pikmin, Isabelle and Link taking the prime spots.
The group are the stars of the Nintendo UK pop-up, adorned on tote (£9.99), PVC bags (£19.99), notebooks, sticky notes and other stationery from the Tokyo branch. These come in around £8 – £13 on average, with the rarest being a pin set, which will likely quickly vanish if the previous Pokémon pop-up is any indication!
Beyond the Tokyo imports is a corner home to a Hylian army of treasures – from plushies (£19.49) of your favourite Triforce piece wielders to Korok and Ganondorf’s minions. Pin badges (£12.99) and other accessories are embedded with Legend of Zelda lore, with most coming in around £17.99 to £19.99. Unfortunately, rupees aren’t accepted, but there is a solid selection of tributes to Legend of Zelda games.
Other Nintendo stars also get their own shelves, with Donkey Kong games finally getting the spotlight after the success of Donkey Kong Banaza. Grab a plushie DK Barrel (£39.99) or how about a banana pouch (£19.99)? The higher ticket Kong selection include jumpers (£44.99) and a nifty barrel shoulder bag (£39.99) to showcase a love for the simian squad when braving the outdoors.
Another series highlight revolves around the ever-charming Kirby, given the recent launch of Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World. Plushies are around £16.99 except for King Dedede having the regal £19.49 inflation, the cheeky scamp. Despite the adorable shelves of plush pals, it is a shame that there isn’t a big a focus on Kirby games compared to other franchises.
Both Pikmin, Splatoon and Animal Crossing have a sizeable presence at the Nintendo UK pop-up, with a good selection of plushies and plush charms (£10.99 to £16.99), t-shirts, bags, stationary and even a quirky Pikmin vase. T-shirts range from £19.99 to £24.99 for the young ones and £24.99 – £29.99 for adults. It’s all delightfully colourful and varied – especially Splatoon, with mugs, playing cards, accessories and bags from £5.99 to £19.99.
Of course, with any Nintendo pop-up store, the biggest collection is dedicated to Super Mario Bros. games. Arguably the highlight is a big feature wall – a striking Mushroom Kingdom plush party, with lesser-known stars invited. Shy Guy, Bullet Bill, Dry Bones all the friends from the world of Super Mario Bros. games are here. These come in a £13.39 each, with the larger mushroom at £39.99. A coin block may be needed for that one! The Super Mario collection also includes homeware, pouches, playing cards and other accessories, ranging from £7.99 to around £19.99.

Any pics of the Yoshi stuff? 😛
Looks great! It’s just weird why this is a temporary thing. Surely it would be a hit as a permanent fixture? Unless it’s to test the waters.
Sadly no real dinosaur presence – apart from a plushie from what I remember!
Definitely good to finally have some form of Nintendo store – totally agree, would be such a good permanent feature especially how the NYC one has done well across 2 decades!
There’s an M&M store in central London with 4(!) floors that I always said would make the perfect store – merch on one floor, a history/exhibit with rare items and demo consoles, Pokémon Centre and a restaurant!
I defo see the coloured Yoshis hiding back there XD But that’s likely about it! Maybe once the new game and movie come out we’ll be getting a lot more!
That would make a perfect store! Feels like Nintendo’s really going strong the last decade, and with the history, really would make sense. Could come down the line – Nintendo’s definitely expanding across the world with theme parks, movies, more licensed products. More official stores could be on the cards.
