UK Chart Highlights: EA Sports FC 27 & Silent Hill: Townfall Storm the Charts

The latest UK chart data from GfK Entertainment / NielsenIQ has been released for the week ending 26th September, 2026.

EA Sports FC 27 blasts in at No.1, with the lion’s share on PS5. For those looking at Nintendo formats and thinking they didn’t perform well, context is required since the Switch version (8%) was actually the biggest seller on that format, ahead of Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, and the Switch 2 edition (4%) also hit high on that format’s chart, beating Pokopia to the top spot there. It’s the mammoth PS5 sales that make it look like everything else underperformed.

Silent Hill: Townfall from Konami performs extremely admirably, debuting at No.2 on PS5, whilst Dune: Awakening starts slow at retail, arriving at No.19 on PS5.

Additional insight courtesy of NielsenIQ reveals:

– Wolverine’s 2nd week percentage drop: -86%

– Fire Emblem’s 2nd week percentage drop: -85%

– LEGO Batman (Switch 2) 2nd week percentage drop: -27%

– Silent Hill compared to past entries: It is the 6^th largest launch week for a Silent Hill title (SILENT HILL 2 (ORIGINAL) -> SILENT HILL 2 (REMAKE) -> SILENT HILL: HOMECOMING -> SILENT HILL F -> SILENT HILL 3 -> SILENT HILL: TOWNFALL. It’s worth nothing that as the original Silent Hill came out such a long time ago, it is difficult to say for certain where it sits in this launch week ranking; but it looks very likely that it also outsold Townfall, when it launched back in 1999…)

– Original Switch version of EA FC 26 vs EA FC 27: -19.6%

– Switch 2 version of EA FC 26 vs FC 27: +12.5%
