The problem with many “large capacity” air fryers, as anyone on board with the modern air frying craze sweeping the nation will know, is that they’re often separated by two baskets. The setup effectively slashes the advertised cook capacity in half. This is perfect for a gamer cooking chicken nuggets and chips at different temperatures. However, it completely fails the moment you try to fit a joint of meat, a tray of vegetables, or anything larger than a single basket.
Cosori Dual Blaze TwinFry Compact eschews the two basket setup and instead opts for one large 8.6 litre drawer ensuring that any size of air fryer party can be catered towards.

The 8.6 litre drawer can be operated as a whole in the excellently named “Grand Zone” or can be split into two independently controlled zones via the included removable divider. It’s a flexible and considered solution but how does it perform practically on the day-to-day? Corsori’s VeSync app is one killer feature that contributes massively to the Dual Blaze TwinFry’s accessibility and practicality.
The app allows the user to set times and check progress remotely from their phone and is a real game changer for people with busy lives. Currently mid-game and want to avoid burning those nuggets to a crisp? Check the app, gamer. It means food can be prepped earlier in the day and then started cooking from the couch or desk, or even on the way home (don’t text and drive!). It is a modern wonder. The app contains recipes and cook times for common foodstuff, so it takes a lot of sting out of checking the tiny text on the back of food packaging to see if they have specific air fryer directions.

That said, if a cook look-up sheet is desired, the Cosori Duel Blaze TwinFry contains a quick start guide out the box – unusually well designed for something that would normally be destined straight for the recycling bin. It’s laid out cleanly and pleasingly with all the settings and cook times for common foods one could need. It’s notable as it really is better than the usual wall of safety warnings in six languages and contributes towards a large amount of positive feelings towards the Corsori brand out of the box.

Physically, this is by no means a small appliance. Measuring at 51 x 31.5 x 33cm it is a hefty bit of kit. It will take up a notable amount of counter space to store and in use, even the manual insists on a further five inches of clearance on every side of the machine while it’s running. Whether that’s going to be a dealbreaker is entirely a matter of, well, space and household size. It is something worth keeping in mind but there’s no getting around the fact that a drawer this capacious needs a body this large to house it.
It’s a trade-off of course as the drawer can be genuinely heavy and awkward to slot in and out, which can be a bit more of a faff if it’s not being used to its full capacity or if the desire is to tip out just one side of the divided basket out without disturbing the other.

More-so handsome than it is beautiful, the Cosori Dual Blaze TwinFry is a tidy and solid-looking machine. No doubt it looks fit for the most rigorous of tasks. The buttons have a slightly plastic, clicky give to them, which could feel better to press but is a fair compromise to being moulded straight into the fascia with no seams for grease to work its way into on multiple use. The same could be said of the trays and divider. They are easy to clean, dishwasher-safe and are finished in a rubberised coating that’s genuinely tactile and satisfying to handle.
The Corsori Dual Blaze TwinFry blitzes food with real conviction in use and when stacked against a considerably smaller Lakeland fryer at home, the gap in speed and power isn’t particularly subtle. Not once across testing did it feel necessary to pre-heat, not that anyone does that anyway, but you can feel safe in the knowledge that this air fryer has got it all covered.
