Cosori Turboblaze 6.0-Litre Air Fryer Review

by C Elizabeth Mac 2 July 2026 0

Cosori has built a reputation for air fryers that balance strong performance with practical design, and the TurboBlaze 6L continues that trend with confidence. It is a family‑sized model that focuses on speed, efficiency and ease of use, powered by a DC motor and a five‑speed fan system that adapts airflow to each cooking mode. The result is an air fryer that cooks quickly, stays quiet and offers a wider range of functions than most units in its class. Following Cubed3’s reviews of the Dual Blaze Twinfry 10-L and TurboTower Dual 10.8L it’s time to take a look at one of the daintier, yet no less powerful, editions on the roster.

Design and Build

The TurboBlaze has a compact footprint despite its six‑litre capacity, making it suitable for kitchens where counter space matters. The basket is large enough for family portions and can handle a whole chicken, yet the overall unit remains easy to position and store. The mix of stainless steel and plastic keeps the weight manageable, and the controls are clear and straightforward.

Cosori’s focus on quiet operation is noticeable. The DC motor produces less noise than traditional AC air fryers, which makes the TurboBlaze more comfortable to use during early mornings or late evenings. It feels like a well‑considered appliance designed for everyday life rather than occasional use.

TurboBlaze Technology and Performance

The defining feature is the five‑speed fan system. Each cooking mode uses a different airflow pattern, allowing the fryer to adjust power and circulation depending on what you are preparing. This helps maintain even cooking and reduces the chance of hot spots, especially with larger portions.

Cosori claims up to 46% faster cooking than AC air fryers, and the TurboBlaze lives up to that promise. Preheating is quick, crisping is consistent, and the unit reaches high temperatures rapidly. The wide temperature range, from 30°C to 230°C, is one of its strongest advantages. It allows for proofing dough, dehydrating fruit, baking, roasting and high‑heat air frying, all within the same appliance.

Energy efficiency is another highlight. Cosori rightly boasts that the TurboBlaze uses up to 64% less energy than a conventional oven, which makes it a practical choice for frequent cooking and quick meals.

Cooking Modes and Everyday Use

The TurboBlaze includes nine functions: Air Fry, Roast, Grill, Frozen, Reheat, Preheat, Proof, Bak,e and Dehydrate. Each mode feels purposeful rather than filler. The Frozen mode is particularly useful for quick weeknight meals, while Proof and Dehydrate add versatility that many air fryers overlook.

The basket is non‑stick and dishwasher‑safe, and the detachable components make cleaning straightforward. Cosori includes a printed recipe booklet with 30 dishes and an additional 87 online recipes, along with 96 cooking charts that help with timings and temperatures. These guides make the TurboBlaze approachable for beginners while still offering depth for more confident cooks.

Real‑World Practicality

The TurboBlaze suits households that want fast, reliable cooking without the noise or bulk of larger appliances. It handles chips, chicken, vegetables and baked goods with ease, and the tailored airflow modes help maintain consistency across different types of food. The quiet operation is a genuine benefit, and the wide temperature range makes it more flexible than many competing models.

The only notable limitation is that this is not a smart model. There is no app control or VeSync integration, which some users may expect from Cosori’s broader product line. However, the simplicity works in its favour, keeping the focus on performance rather than connectivity.
