Krafted Connex – Multi Cable Adaptor Hub

Krafted Connex – Multi Cable Adaptor Hub Review

by Cassey Lo Reniva 12 May 2026 0

The Krafted Connex arrives as a compact, all‑in‑one connectivity tool designed for people who carry multiple devices every day. The Jade colour edition adds a welcome splash of personality to what is usually the dullest category in tech. Krafted positions Connex as a single solution that replaces the tangle of USB‑C, Lightning, Micro USB and legacy connectors that still linger in bags and drawers. It is a simple idea executed with surprising attention to detail.

The accessory folds out like a multi‑tool, revealing a set of flexible silicone connector arms supported by reinforced steel plates. The ABS shell keeps the unit lightweight while still feeling durable enough for daily carry. At 95mm wide and 31mm deep, it fits easily into a pocket or laptop sleeve without adding bulk. The Jade finish gives it a clean, modern look that stands out without being loud.

Functionally, Connex focuses on two things: universal compatibility and dependable performance. It supports up to eight charging and data combinations, covering smartphones, tablets, cameras, earbuds, power banks and older accessories that refuse to die. The inclusion of both USB‑A and USB‑C inputs makes it adaptable to modern and legacy setups, which is essential in a world where device standards evolve faster than consumers upgrade.

Charging performance is solid for a compact hub. Connex delivers standard 5V charging with a maximum output of 25W and supports PD fast charging on one device at a time. Power distribution is intelligently managed, with current automatically shared across outputs depending on how many devices are connected. It is not designed to replace a dedicated high‑wattage charger, but it handles everyday top‑ups and travel charging without issue. Data transfer is available through the Power Delivery (PD) connection, which is a welcome addition that many multi‑cables skip entirely.

Real‑world use is where Connex earns its place. It removes the need to carry three or four separate cables, and it avoids the common problem of cheap multi‑cables that fray or lose connection. The reinforced plates and silicone arms prevent strain on the connectors, and the compact shape keeps everything tidy. It is the kind of accessory that quietly becomes part of a daily carry kit because it solves a problem without demanding attention.

There are limitations. Only one PD device can be fast‑charged at a time, and the 25W ceiling means it will not satisfy users with power‑hungry laptops. These points do not totally undermine the product’s purpose, but they are worth noting for buyers expecting a high‑power charging hub.

Krafted’s sustainability messaging also plays a role here. The company emphasises durability and long‑term use, and Connex reflects that philosophy. It is built to last, avoids the disposable feel of budget multi‑cables, definitely doesn’t feel as heavy as the stated 875g, and reduces the need to buy multiple replacements over time.

Cubed3 Summary

Krafted's Connex succeeds because it focuses on solving a real, everyday problem with a design that is compact, durable, and genuinely useful. It streamlines the mess of cables most people still carry, offers wider compatibility than many multi‑cable alternatives and adds thoughtful touches like Power Delivery (PD) support and data transfer that elevate it above the usual travel‑cable crowd. It does have limits, particularly in overall power output and fast‑charging capacity, and it is not intended to replace a dedicated high‑wattage charger. Even so, it delivers reliable performance and practical convenience in a way that makes it easy to recommend for commuters, travellers, and anyone juggling multiple devices.
