Lepro TB1 AI Smart Table Lamp

Lepro TB1 AI Smart Table Lamp Review

by Cassey Lo Reniva 6 January 2026 0

Lepro’s TB1 AI Smart Table Lamp aims to blend striking design, mood‑enhancing lighting and hands‑free control into a single desk accessory. Featuring 196 addressable RGB+IC LEDs across three adjustable rings, AI‑powered LightGPM lighting scenes and LightBeats music syncing, it works with Alexa and Google Assistant. Alongside app integration, photo‑based cues and voice interaction elevate it beyond typical smart lamps. Cubed3 takes an in‑depth look at its design, lighting experience, smart features and value for content creators, gamers and tech‑savvy users.

Sculptural Design with High-Quality Lighting

The TB1 stands out immediately with its eye‑catching triple‑ring structure, resembling a gyroscope, and weighs roughly 830g. The rings are constructed from high‑grade aluminium and mounted on a stable base, giving the lamp a sculptural presence that suits creative spaces and gaming setups. The design supports smooth rotation of up to 300 degrees, allowing users to direct or diffuse light with precision. Across the three rings sit 196 individually addressable LEDs: 88 on the outer ring, 62 on the middle and 46 on the inner. These produce vivid colour zones, ultra‑smooth gradients and bright, consistent illumination. The lamp’s spiral form and premium materials give it a futuristic aesthetic that functions as both art and practical lighting.

AI and Sound-Driven Light Modes

The TB1 offers a wide range of lighting possibilities, supported by more than sixteen million colour options. Users can customise colours, brightness, animation styles and transition speeds, creating anything from subtle ambience to bold, energetic lighting. The gradients remain smooth even at higher speeds, and the lamp’s output is strong enough to shape the mood of an entire desk or room. LightGPM AI expands this further by generating lighting scenes based on simple mood prompts such as “relaxed” or “party.” Users can also upload images—such as game artwork, posters or colour palettes—and the lamp will create lighting themes inspired by the visual content. This feature allows highly personalised lighting without requiring manual fine‑tuning. LightBeats music sync adds another layer of immersion. Using its built‑in microphone or audio input from a connected device, the lamp reacts to music in real time, shifting colours and intensity in rhythm with the beat. The effect is fluid and responsive, making it suitable for parties, gaming sessions or creative work where dynamic lighting enhances atmosphere.

Smart App and Voice Control

The TB1 connects over 2.4GHz Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth, with the Lepro app providing full access to its features. Users can adjust brightness, colour temperature, animation patterns, scene scheduling and preset recall. The interface is straightforward, and setup requires only downloading the app and pairing the lamp.
Voice control is available through Alexa and Google Assistant. Commands such as turning the lamp on or off, adjusting brightness or switching colours work reliably and allow hands‑free operation from anywhere in the room. The lamp also supports in‑app AI commands, enabling users to request moods or lighting styles without needing a separate smart‑home hub. Although the app performs well, the lamp does not currently support HomeKit, Matter or Home Assistant, which may limit integration for users with more advanced smart‑home ecosystems.

Use During Gaming and Content Creation

The TB1 enhances gaming and content‑creation environments with lighting that avoids glare on monitors or reflective surfaces. Adjustable colour and brightness help reduce eye strain during long sessions, while the sculptural rings add visual interest on camera for streamers and content creators. LightBeats music sync can heighten immersion during gameplay, reacting to soundtracks, combat effects or ambient audio. Mood presets also help set the tone for livestreams, editing sessions or themed content. The lamp’s distinctive form doubles as a decorative accent in social media posts, desk tours or UGC content.

Real-World Performance and Limitations

The lamp includes a 5.9ft cable and a heavy, stable base that keeps it firmly in place while still allowing easy repositioning. Brightness levels are strong enough for accent lighting or creative video backgrounds, and the colour reproduction remains consistent across all three rings. A small physical button controls power, but all other adjustments require the app or voice commands. AI‑generated scenes may need occasional refinement, and the novelty of reactive lighting can diminish over time. Limited smart‑home compatibility and reliance on the app for deeper control are minor drawbacks for users seeking full automation.

Pricing and Competition

Retailing at around £80, the TB1 competes with RGB smart lamps such as Philips Hue Play and Nanoleaf Shapes. Its sculptural design, addressable LEDs and AI‑driven features give it a distinctive edge over simpler RGB bulbs or static desk lamps. Budget alternatives cost less but lack the TB1’s combination of premium materials, dynamic lighting and intelligent scene generation.

Key Information

Feature Details
LEDs 196 individually addressable RGB+IC LEDs
Design Three adjustable aluminium rings, approximately 830g weight
Modes LightGPM AI scenes, LightBeats music sync
Controls App-based control, Alexa and Google Assistant voice support
Colour Range 2,000–6,500K, up to 16 million colours
Connectivity Wi‑Fi 2.4GHz, Bluetooth, built-in microphone
Power 5V / 3A power adapter
Price Approximately £80 / $90

Balanced between creative flair, smart features and build quality, the TB1 excels in design and ambience. Limited ecosystem compatibility and the gradual fade of novelty prevent it from being exceptional, but it remains a standout piece of desk art with activity‑driven intelligence.

Cubed3 Summary

Lepro’s TB1 AI Table Lamp successfully marries bold design with smart functionality. Its AI‑driven moods and dynamic music‑sync lighting offer engaging visuals, while voice and app‑based control enhance convenience. The sculptural rings provide artistic appeal and versatile lighting angles that support work, gaming and ambient needs. Although AI presets may require occasional adjustment and the app dependency may frustrate some users, these are minor quirks considering its design ambitions. The TB1 delivers bright, pure colour, and its scheduling tools make it a reliable mood‑manager. Its distinctive form and addressable LED control mark it as a compelling choice for tech enthusiasts, creators and gamers seeking lighting that goes beyond basic illumination.
