The Arrow:Charge S is Snakebyte’s attempt to solve a familiar Switch problem: too many controllers and nowhere sensible to keep them. It is a small, upright charging station with room for four Joy‑Con and a Pro Controller, and it immediately feels more useful than its modest footprint suggests. In day‑to‑day use the stand behaves exactly as you want it to. Joy‑Con slide into the rails cleanly, the Pro Controller sits securely on its adapter, and the five LED indicators give a quick read on what is still charging. Nothing about the design is flashy, but it is tidy, stable, and easy to live with. In Cubed3’s own setup video, the Switch dock happens to sit directly on top of the unit, which unintentionally shows how naturally it folds into a typical gaming space without demanding extra room.
Performance is consistent. The Arrow:Charge S draws power over USB‑A, so it works with almost any existing setup, and the included cable is long enough to avoid awkward placement. Charging speeds are standard rather than fast, although the station’s real strength is its ability to handle several controllers at once without turning the area into a tangle of cables. The build quality reflects the budget price, but nothing feels flimsy in practice. It is the kind of accessory that disappears into the background once you start using it, which is often the best outcome for a charging dock.
