Music plays during objections when they're wrong, doesn't it?

Yea, from my experiances theres only music if the judge is going to arse rape you about it lol. Nice little effect, imo...creates a little suspense and ambiance.
About 20 mins ago I finished the second case on the first game...my god was that thing tense lol. Its been a while since I felt that involved in a game, bloody great feeling when you stick it to Redd .
Theres another little thing I like...the names. As simple as it is the names just make me laugh and I dunno why. Plus, Pheonix Wright? Thats one hell of a classy name , although I do like Apollo Justice aswell.
I'd like to say that I never heard music in my in-game objections, but that would be a lie. I meant the music in the objections that Superlink is making on that website thing.
And Yeah, Takeo, the names are really quite awesome! You'll love the name they have for an old lady in episode 3.

Well, you just need to put (tunes) before the text, it's actually a secret, there are quite a few secrets, mostly alternate characters.
EDIT: See?

(edgey) = Edgeworth.
(karma) = Manfred von Karma.
(winston): Winston Payne.
(chief-35) = Mia Fey. (Proper voice)
(princess) = Fransizka von Karma.
(udgey) = Judge.
(crusher) = Young Winston Payne.
(tunes) = Adds Music.
Thankee kindly good sir.
But anyways, I was thinking it might be fun to get some kind of "Phoenix Wright Play-through" together to play the first two games before the third comes out - or atleast play the first again seeing as that is the one that is likely the most rusty.

Yeah, she's a real pain. Stupid Oldbag.
Case3 of the first game gave me fits as well. Took me a long while, but was quite good. Especially in the final days. You'll like it.

Lemme guess, Phil set you up with his....import stuff.
Just noticed this thread was here... I haven't been playing on my DS since I got back from holiday, too busy with WoW and Guitar Hero instead. IN any case I played the first PW ages ago, and I need to get into the second. I would start it today, but I have way too much stuff I'm busy with
Pffft, you're playing WoW over Phoenix Wright? For shame.
And I was thinking the other day, if Vikki (Shinyrainbow) dyed her hair blond, wouldn't she look very similar to Adrian Andrews?
I was always interested in Phoenix Wright, but it's one of those games that may or may not appeal to you, judging it from media of the game (well it did with me). Luckily enough Stef has leant me a copy of her game and I've finally got to play it. So my thoughts on the game?
Well I'm really enjoying it so far! Everything is done well, menus are set out well and everything is easy to get the hang of. I'm really enjoying the characterization in the game. Each character has there own little thin going on and I've constantly found myself laughing out loud on many occasions (especially at that annoying Oldhag).
It's quite a hard game to describe really, one thing I thought would put me off the game though was the use of lots of text, but I found it to be a creative script so far and as I said it's kept me entertained by constantly producing some laugh out loud moments, the music is also a brilliant part of the game. The only problem I have with the game is the boring parts in-between court sessions, when you have to search for evidence, but its part of the game and it's definitely needed, otherwise it would be dead short.
That's all, just thought I would let you know my thoughts on the first game and I'm definitely interested in purchasing the second and third games now.
BUY IT NOW!

Yeah, I'd say thats my only gripe with the series as well, some of the investigation can be tedious. I'd say the second game did a bit of a better job at making it a little less boring though.
And by the way, here's the video of Ace Attorney 4 from TGS - I know it was already posted at that time, but I figured we could have it here. Plus, this one has English dubbing.
GS4 should be good. 'Ace Attorney', 'Justice For All' and 'Trials and Tribulations' are just remakes of the GBA games released in Japan - with this new game, we see a fresh start for the series, and the games being developed around the DS platform rather than a port.
Not only should we see slightly better graphics, but expect a more innovative use of the touch screen, as seen in the bonus case of the first PW game.
Judging by the first trailer, the graphics seem to be much improved. All the courtroom artwork is higher res, and Apollo looks pretty slick too. Hopefully they've really jazzed it up.
It appears that this new attorney's skill is reading people for lies, like if they're fingers twitch or something. I think how they use that will be intriguing.
Jacob4000 said:Well actually, hardly any of that trailer is in game footage, it's the animated drawings they use for all Phoenix Wright adverts, the only bits with in game footage is the bit with all those screens whizzing by, & you can catch a few clips of Rise From The Ashes style minigames.

I just watched that Ace Attorney 4 trailer and I didn't see any off the original characters make an appearance.
The new guy looks... stupid!
So at 55 seconds left on the video, that isn't in-game? If not I'm disappointed, if it is, that's what I'm talking about, as far as it looks much cleaner.
Phoenix makes an appearance, & I think that's it.
Oh yeah, & Ema Skye is a main character now.

Yeah there are a few cameos, but the slate seems to be pretty much wiped.

I actually really like those parts...its a nice break from courtroom action, and makes you feel more involved and actually like a real attorney. Also as Marzy said, its needed otherwise the game would be over very quickly...
