Number 3 is good so far. The first case is the best first case of the three games I think. Case 2 isn't looking that interesting so far, but I've only done about 5 - 10 minutes, so it's still in its very early introduction stages.

There's a new super terrorist bio weapon growing inside me called J.E.A.L.O.U.S. (As in the J in jealous, the E in jealous, the A in jealous, the L in jealous, the O in jealousm the U in jealous & the S in jealous.)
Yeah, we get it Superlink.
Sounds great, Mason. I'm glad they've made the first case pretty good then - its not like people really need an introduction case after getting the first two games. Please keep us posted n' all.
It serves as a fair introduction, walking you through holding your hand initially, which is a bit annoying, but it nicely fills in some backstory on a couple of characters and has some really funny (and inappropriate) moments. It's easy, but better than the others I think. Another of their random unexpected pop culture references has cropped up already. It's looking good...I'll keep popping in with thoughts.
EDIT: Messed around with the post to make it better.

That stinks that there still doing the introductions, but I'm glad to hear that its at least interesting, though.

I wouldn't have minded tho.
Anything new to report, Mason? *whips*
Guys, I think you're going to love it. I'm onto the final case, first day of trial, and it's brilliant - you're doing things I was hoping would happen from the first game. Case four was disappointing as it felt like it was just one long introduction, like it was going to turn into something entirely new and expand on that story, but that something never happened (even though it was still good to have that case there to fill in some gaps). Now I see it's just going to serve to make case 5 all the better; it's essentially just a 3 hour back story to it, in a way.
I'm at the point where I'm reluctant to play too much, as I know once this is done, that's the end of the Phoenix Wright trilogy of the Ace Attorney series. However, it's so good that I can't help but play.
Mason said:I hate that feeling, I have it with most games, when I know I'm near the end, but for some reason, Phoenix Wright games moreso. I even make a little moan when I get halfway through the game, because I know it will only last a bit longer

Would you say it's the best one so far?
Yeah, I hate that feelings with a game too, or anything really. Once its over, its over.
Thanks for the information, Mason! I am getting excited again, why oh why did they have to delay it to October? I mean really, the game was already made and the translation done, what gave?
This is the best thinking game on the DS and it can take you up to a lot of time to complete. it makes you use your head to think about what evidence to collect and it takes away all of the repetitive hack and slashers on the gamecube and some on the DS, because it is an intlligent game. I cant wait for the third game to come out. Super Sonic.
I think it's probably the best of the series, yeah, but I won't know for sure until the very end - the final case of number 2 will take some beating. I was disappointed with case 4, as I say, but it's slotted in nicely now and was worthwhile. I'm really hoping case 5 is longer than the others, there still seems to be so much to clear up and I'm on the second part of the crime investigation...
Well, is case 4 better than case 3 of Justice for All? Or Case 3 of the first game?
To be honest I can't remember those cases anymore. It was good, it was just short and didn't lead anywhere...at the time. It's definitely important.
Mason said:It's good to hear ^^ Case 3 in Justice for all (Billy Bob Johns case) didn't seem to relate to any other cases.

Im on the first day of the trial on the first one and day 1 of the trial of case 2 on Justice for all...
Havent had alotta time to play recently - lent my flash ca...I mean DS to my friend and wont get it back until tomorrow. Really loving them so far though...except im really not too impressed with the secret lock thing on justice for all. I dont know, it just feels asif they couldnt think of ways to challenge me through legit witnesses as evidence and thus created this...I really dont like it. Is it used only for that case or will I have to suffer it or the rest of the game?
It's not really that bad, you'll get used to it, besides, you don't use it too often, just a few times per case.
Case 5 is full of awesome and win.
I think I only have the last half of the final trial to go.

BTW. Coffee is on the menu now.
Godot is the first honourary fictional member of LOK.
Best game of the series. Finished it an hour ago.
The last case perhaps isn't quite as...intense as the last in PW2, but the story is superb. Everything is all wrapped up in the end, and it really feels like it's the end of it all. I don't think there was a bad case in there at all, and even one of the ones that seems totally unconnected manages to get a tiny connection in there when it comes down to it. Ace, very well thought out.
You'll be missed, Wright. Roll on Apollo Justice.
Damn, it sounds incredible, I want it so much
& yeah, Wright will be missed, who knows? He might make a comeback someday
Well, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney is going to have to have a decent explanation for some of the character choices in it given the end of Phoenix Wright 3. Seems a bit contradictory from what I've just seen compared to what I've read about AJ:AA.
I'll believe they've got it covered, anyway.
Just a month to go for those waiting for a western release. You must be crazy if you want to wait for the EU release... I won't cope. Importing from US.
not sure if this has been said already because im fairly new but i wondered if the 3rd had a release date for the uk. im currently on the 5th case on number 1 and half way the 1st case on the 2nd game, the game pissed me off coz i missed a little thing like a wallet so i started the second game, until i realised the web had the answer! God bless Gamefaqs.
Don't think it does, but it's probably going to be early next year. The fourth one is supposed to be out here around then (or was, they've probably delayed it...), so it has to be really unless they're going to release them out of order.
On another note, just posted in my new MySims topic...look who I made...
He even has a voice that's right-ish, thanks to the voice customiser in the game!
