Anyone else notice the Adult Link roll, or was it just me? :O
I noticed with Young and Adult Link.
It's fantastic, but at the end of the day, it is the same game I've played so much before. So in that sense, it's definitely far less exciting now. Still, I'm enjoying the new visuals and extra details and the 3D is actually good.
Anyone else finding the lock-on system to be worse than the original game's, when using the Boomerang? What's with the really slow aiming speed too?

The lock on is atrocious, the mini-boss squid was fucking impossible with it.
Trying to get Epona right now, I'm finding it impossible, I only have 99 rupees as well so I have to reload to the temple of time every fucking time I lose. GAH. Edit: Done it!
There is about 3-4 frames missing at the end of the roll which makes it look a little dodge.
Forest temple has some really nice effects which work well with the 3D. However, forest temple music is about the only Zelda track that I have thought is really annoying.

There's a new Iwata Asks about Ocarina of Time with some developers of the original development team. Sadly, I'm in school right now so I can't read a whole lot of it.
I'll post a summary with interesting/funny/bizarre bits of it later for people who don't have the time to read the full Iwata Asks.

It's the best music.
^ Along with Spirit Temple, this is true! Used to scare the shit out of me when I was younger though :/
I take it the dying soldier scene is still in then?
Yep, I checked yesterday. I'm so glad they kept it.
Got my copy yesterday, but only had chance to play for about half an hour, so I've only just finished the Deku Tree. Awesome, but I can't seem to get rid of the ghosting effect caused by the 3D? I had to just turn the 3D off after a while since it annoyed me.
EDIT: Castle town is awesome! The new textures are really the best thing about this game I think. And the motion controls make the shooting game easier and more fun!

I had that initial problem, but I've settled into it and the ghosting is gone. The only place I get it is when Link is running through a black doorway or in a really tight space. I can settle into the 3DS's sweet spot really easily though.

Yeah, same. I'm getting used to it, since the game does look better with 3D turned on, but it's still a bit annoying.
Also just reached Zelda. I noticed that they removed the Mario portraits from inside the castle windows! But replaced them with a Mario landscape with coin blocks and warp pipes!

I just found this in a cave... had to take a photo.

What is it?
Look more closely.

If you're running short on money imo this is one of the easiest ways to make some!
1) Become Adult Link
2) Go to Kakariko Village
3) Turn right at the tree/2 guys and climb the ledge just infront of the first house.
4) There should be a rock just beside some steps (I think).
5) Make sure you have bottles equipped
6) Lift the rock and 3 bugs come out - catch them with your bottles! If you're fast enough you maybe able to get all three, but 2 will do.
7) Head towards Death Mountain entrance and just before there'll be the begging man - give him your bottled bugs! He gives you 50 rupees per bug!
8) Simply go into a house, come out and repeat! EAAAAASY!

The glowing vagina of time?
Something Skyward Sword related?
The glowing vagina of time?
Just completed the Forest Temple, I was wondering around aimlessly for a while until I realised that I could re-open eyes with the bow *doh*. Really nice to wonder round and explore.

I've only just gotten to to Dodongo's Cavern. I spent a while just going round and exploring the world, collecting a few Skulltula tokens and heart pieces.
The only problem I've had is the lock on not always locking on. Oh, and work getting in the way of play time. I should have some decent play time at the weekend though.
Almost through the water temple I'm really enjoying it, don't know why people think its so bad. Though I did just go through a really long winded set to get the boss key and discovered that I was one small key short. Fuuuuu. Back to the middle ground.
Water temple all done, boss beaten on first try. I really don't understand why people dislike that temple? I think I enjoyed it more than the one in twilight princess....
Edit: Just been notified that they highlighted the water level changers and equipping boots is far easier. Still, I cant see why everyone hates it. Then again, when this came out everyone was 13 years younger.

Completed the game last night and I really enjoyed playing it again. Last battle wasn't quite as epic as it was in the original. Gonna attempt master quest in a bit
Do you guys agree that it's not a 10/10 game? So many sites, newspapers, mags are giving the game a perfect 10 when really it's a good remake, but still has errors/issues - some things could have been far improved like the music, accessible pick-up-and-play features etc.

Also, not having to pause every time you put on and take off the heavy boots - must make it quite a bit more bearable on its own.

I definitely agree.
Would have like a new temple as well, since people who have played it lots before might find it less exciting. I certainly am.

You can now register the game on Club Nintendo. It asks for your address at the end of the survey to send a CD to
Well, Link looks absolutely awesome so it's definitely a 10/10 for me! jk Gonna form an opinion on that after I've played through the normal game and Master Quest, though that might take a while because next week is the last "real" week at school so I should probably get my act together for that.
It's kinda insane with the ratings though. Ocarina of Time 3D has 96.19% right now on Gamerankings after 8 reviews. If it stays like that when it has 20+ reviews it would be in the Top Ten...twice.

Just registered Ocarina 3D but when it came to putting in my address in for the CD, I kept getting error messages. Gonna send a message to Nintendo to make sure it got through. Not gonna let their s*** site screw me out of the free cd.
As for the game, I'm really liking it. I really wish Master Quest was unlocked from the start though. I've played the original and rarely get much time to dedicate to games these days as it is so it's a real pain to have to go through the entire game just to get to the mode I wanted to play from the start.
