Take-Two Neither Confirm Nor Deny GTA Wii

Publisher Take-Two recently discussed the possibility of handling a version of GTA for Wii.

The city munching action-fest has always been something Nintendo fans and the company themselves have hoped for. With the DS version on the way, Wii owners may have some chance of pumping lead. Last week Reggie praised Take Two/Rockstar's efforts with the portable version, effectively saying it's down to the pair if they wanted to work with Wii.

More recently, in an interview with GameDaily (via Kotaku), Take Two's Ben Feder commented on the always-hot question: "Will GTA head to Wii?"

I can't comment on it, but obviously we have one of the best selling third �party games on the Wii in Carnival Games from 2K Play, so we know the Wii pretty well.

We're building up assets to develop for the Wii and we're excited about its growth. I can't comment on GTA specifically on the Wii...

I can't see GTA IV coming to the Wii but another GTA maybe from the last generation but a totally new GTA game coming to the Wii. If they can create a GTA game using the RE4 Wii style view and running, I think we can have a good game. I would like to see a new game, not a port, not a remake... A NEW GTA GAME.

I hope they bring back the old GTAs. You know, the ones that were fun? I hated GTA4. It was dull and got boring really fast. Oh, it was pretty, and the story was great, but playing the game was lame.

They should take a page out of EA's book, and look at the Godfather, which was one of the best games on Wii. In fact, it still is one of the best games on Wii.

That and Scarface (I think that's the one) had decent controls on the Wii. GTA IV I don't see coming, but I do see a smaller side-story or compilation heading to the machine.

actually i was really happy when i got the and i was playing zelda TP and i ended the game but now i'm really bbored because the wii doesnt have a great games. so it means yes the wii need a game like gta
