Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky Screens

A new title in the popular Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series has recently been revealed. However this time, unlike the previous entries in the series, the game doesn't come as a pair.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky, continues on from the story of the previous DS titles, Explorers of Time & Darkness. Fans of the series will be happy to discover what happened to Grovyle the Thief and the Wigglytuff Guild after the events of the last game.

The game will also see many starters returning from the previous titles, however 2 of them have been replaced by 5 new ones, including Phanpy, Riolu, Vulpix, Eevee and Shinx.

Explorers of the Sky is headed for a Springtime release in Japan, with an inevitable western release before the end of the year.

A third mystery dungeon huh? I have Red Rescue Team which came with my SP, its ok, but i dont think i'll be playing any of the DS installments.

I wish they'd hurry up with the next Wii title, Battle Revolution felt more of an extension to D/P then a full game like Colosseum and XD:GoD.

I can never look at that name the same way again, and I've only just realised the acronym says "God".

But yeah, at least they're still putting out the games. I was starting to worry the series was gonna die with no sign of a Wii game or Generation V game anywhere. Smilie

PUT YOUR EFFORTS INTO THAT ONE GAME PEOPLE HAVE WANTED FOR YEARS, A 3D POKEMON TITLE, MANY WILL BUY IT.

The Mystery Dungeon franchise has many fans, and unlike most of the Pokémon franchise it actually has a story.

I apologise, I suppose I am merely comparing it to how much I want a new entry to the main series as opposed to the many endless spin-offs. It makes me cry a little inside.

Well Platinum's on the way soon and with any luck there'll be a Gold/Silver remake eventually...

And there's no way Nintendo will hold off the inevitable Wii Pokémon spin off much longer Smilie

I will try to avoid a gold remake, to save myself losing 100s of hours of my life. Smilie

And I wouldn't call Platinum new, more a Pearl ver 1.1. But iirc in platinum do your pokemon look at you when you send them out? that rocks! :3

Gold/Silver were my two favorite Pokemon games. That mystery and tad darkness about them just puts them over the top on the awesome scale.
