SEGA Update Their New Teaser Site on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

SEGA have made a few updates to their tease of a teaser website, just a couple of days until the countdown reaches 0.

The pixellated Mushroom on the teaser page now inflates like a balloon when highlighted, and a comment can be heard by clicking on the bottom left bar. We're still not sure what it translates to, so any hints would be helpful!

Other things to note include the almost "1up" jingle when you click the Mushroom, and the "sexual content" and "violence" symbols on the right of the page. Long time fans also have the option to get fuzzy insides by clicking on the SEGA logo.

Also worthy of note is that clicking the red "U" takes you to this website. (Thanks to C3 Reader Echoes221 for the tip!). Clicking the "P" in Produce also plays a little musical jingle, while clicking the "T" in Takao takes you to the Let's Tap website, and clicking the "c" in coming takes you to the Let's Catch site. Most curious.

Stick to C3 for inevitable updates in the next few days. In the meantime, what do users feel about the uncanny Mario reference alongside the sexual content and violence symbols?

I didn't stick this in the article itself as it's pure speculation, but the "pole" in the web address combined with the "sexual content" logo may lead one to believe it could be one of those pole dancing games we keep hearing about. Smilie

As for the mushroom? Probably just an extravagent way of saying it'll be on Wii.

This reminds of a thread i was reading the other day on some site.

Can you all imagine a serious Mario title? I can, just a bit, but not without a massive grin spreading across my face and bursting into fits of laughter Smilie. Mario jumping on Goomba's with a straight face? I think i've made my point. Still though, i really cant figure wtf this mushroom is all about.

Mario = Nintendo, and since it\'s unlikely (still possible though) that said poledancing game would be on DS, Wii is the conclusion I arrived at ;P

Update: I put some more info on the site\'s clickables into the article if anyone\'s interested. Maybe this is another \"Let\'s\" game?

Maybe it's mario actually on magic mushrooms, and he actually has his own GTA style sandbox game, sorta like Crackdown.

Hmmm... interesting.

When you click the mushroom it\'s NOT the Mario 1-up jingle, it\'s the Mario 1-up jingle backwards (i came to that conclusion by ear).

Maybe it\'s some sort of video game spoof game.

I\'ve just had an idea. Maybe it\'s a Sonic vs Mario game, like a proper one, not at the olympic games, like MK vs DC style i.e. worlds colliding and that stuff. That would be awesome.

Clicking on the Sega logo did make my insides go fuzzy... lol.
