Update 1: It seems Nintendo aren't ready to officially announce any plans, with the Japanese division telling Famitsu magazine, "Our company isn't doing any interviews [about this]. We think it's a speculative article."
Original story - 26/10:
Japan will see a new revision of the Nintendo DS by the end of this year, but this time it is only a minor upgrade.
This new iteration will be the fourth variation of Nintendo's popular Handheld, following the Original, the Lite, and the DSi.
Technically, this will still be a DSi, except with 4 inch screens, an extra 0.75 inches bigger than the current model, and will retail for the same price. No word yet on whether there are any other changes, or if there will be an overseas release for this DS, but Nintendo are expected to make an announcement on it soon.
Thanks to GoNintendo.
