Until now most, if not all, of the footage of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 has been on Xbox 360. Will it be the same on Nintendo's Wii?
The answer is pretty much yes. Aside from slight jagged edges, the sprite-work, backgrounds and animation are near enough identical. According to Sonic Stadium, the folk who captured the footage, it is of the E3 build and still bares some of its flaws.
Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is out later this year.
In related news, SEGA's Aaron Webber revealed that the team won't be making major changes to the game's physics engine as "even small physics changes require updating almost every stage. It is never as easy as many might think, but I did ask and made sure it was brought to certain people’s attention."
There will be changes in other areas and level mechanics (to be revealed in a future blog), to try and make everyone happy and the experience enjoyable for both fans and newcomers alike.
