The 90s had a very distinctive flavour when it came to advertising, both in print and when you'd glare at the latest releases on your living room television. Whether simply a sign of the times, or an excuse to mask the quality of games with wacky action, these adverts certainly are in a league of their own. Even some of the worse off titles had brilliant advertising.

They just don't make them like they used to. Check out five more quirky, funny and downright bizzare Nintendo 64 adverts as part of a month long celebration for the console's 15th birthday.

We've chuckled at the likes of the quirky Japanese advert for Goldeneye 007, the fan favourite Star Fox 64 commercial and the rather disturbing Glover advert, but these five are some of our more memorable TV pieces as we approach the top of the list.

Let out a heartfelt "awwww" at the Japanese advert for Jet Force Gemini and shed a tear at the the lengthy Zelda: Majora's Mask North American campaign.

10) Paper Mario (US)

9) Excitebike (US)

8) Jet Force Gemini (JP) - NSFW

7) Conker's Bad Fur Day (US)

6) The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (US)
