Dragon Quest X on Wii U to Make TGS Debut on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Gagging for your slice of what Dragon Quest X on Wii U would look like? Square Enix will reveal more at a special TGS stage event.

The game, which has had solid sales on the Wii so far, is also getting an upgraded version on the Wii U as well. The RPG giant has kept schtum on the better edition to preserve sales; however with the release of the Wii U incoming - it's time to lift the lid on Dragon Quest X for Nintendo's new console.

Square Enix are planning to hold a special stage event will all the details, which will hopefully include a dollop of gameplay footage from the cross-platform game. The studio will also detail updates for the current Wii edition.

My guess is it will look pretty much the same.

Well, it COULD indeed look the same, but the draw distance will be better, an there will definitely be no pop-in. Also, the online SHOULD be even more stable, and having the game in an external HDD or SDHC card vs on a USB Memory Stick will be more convenient for me.
