EA Sports to Dribble FIFA Football into 2022, Extends Licence on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

EA Sports will be set to dribble balls for at least the next nine years with an extended FIFA agreement.

The ever-popular football sim is now set to remain in EA's hands until 2022. Games include the standard annual FIFA affair, FIFA Manager plus the FIFA World Cup companion. The first FIFA branded title was released by EA Sports back in 1993 and over two decades later, the franchise is still going strong.

The latest FIFA stint on a Nintendo system was FIFA 2013 launching alongside Nintendo Wii U last year, however there aren't plans for an updated footy fix this year.
