Everyone's favourite attorney Phoenix Wright is heading to the West as a digital-only release, Capcom confirms.

Titled Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, the game will be released in Europe and North America this fall. The new game will see Phoenix return to the helm as playable protagonist, joined by Apollo Justice and partner Athena Cykes. Athena will be able to use her "Mood Matrix" ability to uncover the emotional state of a witness and use their mood to uncover clues and work out contradictions to solve the case.

I hate to say it, but I'm not surprised in the slightest. NONE of the games have done well in Europe, even with Nintendo publishing them. I'm just thankful we're getting it AT ALL! Smilie

Digital only huh..... ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffine then. atleast we're getting it.

UGH I want a physical copy. Smilie But yeah, at least we're getting it... Phoenix X Layton and Investigations 2 now please.

I would love if Capcom released an Ace Attorney Collection on 3DS, as I've never had the privilege to play the Ace Attorney games. I'm just waiting for the announcement of Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright being localised... it better happen!

Kinda strange how the two series are somewhat alike (I mean, they've had a crossover!) but the AA series never really took off over here, whereas the Layton games just sell like mad.

So we're still not getting Ace Attorney Investigations 2, Capcom? What the hell?! And this "digital only" BS really pisses me off. Maybe if they put some freaking marketing into the damn games they'd sell, instead of constantly promoting Street Fighter or some other game people will likely buy without ever looking at a single ad.

I don't even know if I'm gonna buy it now, because I do NOT like using the eShop. I prefer solid, physical copies of my handheld games whenever possible. This is a bad decision, Capcom.
