Black Nintendo Wii U Consoles Phased out in Japan on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

It seems that the Deluxe black Wii U consoles are starting to be phased out in Japan.

Nintendo currently have numerous options available at retailers, but these appear to be being phased out as soon as stock has been depleted. The current two main/continuity systems are the original/basic 8GB white console, plus the more recent 32GB Wii Sports Club bundle, also in white.

The Nintendo website confirms that other branded bundles like Dragon Quest X, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and the Instant Play Family packages are no longer available in the country.

Should Nintendo take a similar approach overseas and only maintain the white Wii U consoles?
