New Dragon Quest Monsters in Development

Over the weekend, Square Enix confirmed that a new Dragon Quest Monsters game is in the works.

During the Dragon Quest Summer Festival, which took place in Toyko, Japan, the publisher celebrated the popular RPG series with a range of activities, tasty food and merchandise.

During the event, one of the studio's producers, Taichi Inuzuka, confirmed that a new game in the spin-off Dragon Quest Monsters series is in development. Nothing else on the project was revealed, including the target platform(s), but Inuzuka teased that "competitiveness will be as fun as always."
