Wii U Starting to Receive Unity 5.0 Support on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Development sources have confirmed that Unity 5 is in progress for Nintendo Wii U.

The latest incarnation of the popular game development tool offers a vast number of tweaks, improvements and new features for game creators. Whilst Unity 5 Wii U was confirmed previously, it was uncertain when the technology would become available for aspiring Nintendo developers to use.

According to a Nintendo Everything report, a beta version of Unity 5.0.1 was distributed recently, so studios can start to work with the new tech.

However, developers are being urged to stick with Unity 4.3 as 5.0 is currently not submittable.

What Unity 5.0-driven projects would you like to see head to Wii U?
