3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Has Super Sonic Mode on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Ever wanted to start out with the ability to become Super Sonic? 3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2 has that option.

The revamped 3DS game, which features the Genesis/Mega Drive classic with stereoscopic 3D, has a handful of extra modes to spruce up the action. Once players complete the main game, the new "Super Sonic Mode" will be unlocked, which sees Sonic starting the game with all seven of the Chaos Emeralds, plus 50 rings, allowing him to morph into the near unstoppable Super Sonic.

The game is now out in Japan, with a Western release planned in the future.
