Nintendo News | Lionhead Returns to The Movies!

Updated: Lionhead representatives have now commented on this recent news story and had the following to say: "Activision will not be publishing the console version of The Movies but that does not mean the project is dead." So good news all round, and could there be another publisher involved to release the console versions then?

Original Story: During Activision's 2006 fiscal conference call yesterday, it was confirmed that the console version of Lionhead's 'The Movies', which was due to head to GC, PS2 and Xbox, has been cancelled. This could be due to the under-performing sales of the title on the PC. The Movies allowed players to create their own film studios and films, with a huge amount of customisation options.
