Quick News: The latest Wii rumour has circled the Internet with an estimation of the Wii's RRP. Tokyo-based Nikko finance group have issued a report on all sorts of Nintendo tidbits, speculating the Wii will retail at approximately 19,800¥, around $170 (~$200)US,

No way that's going to happen. If the console is that cheap then Nintendo will probably end up bundling it with a game and maybe a few VC games so they can jack the price up another

I reckon if they are going to make that cheap, then they should add like two games to it or something and make it more expensive. As people already said, it makes it look too cheap and people will just dismiss it as an inferior product.

It makes no sense to sell what you intend to be your leading product for the same price as the Nintendo DS. That is unless they don't include various items that people will be planning on buying like the numb chuck, a memory card, extra Wii-mote and so on.

However I still think that a more expensive bundle deal will be better, even if the system itself is only

I see them doing a bundle, releasing it at such a low cost is Commercial suicide. Maybe have it come with a gc controller too and 2nd Wii controller. That way you can play multiplayer out of the box.
