The first video of Namco Bandai's Wii Fit clone has sweat on to the Internet with all the jogging, running, jumping you could ever want.
Update: Even more videos...

I think 'clone' is a bit of a hard word to be using when describing what that video shows. Isnt Wii Fit a more serious effort to make us think we are exercising while playing a game?
This looks more like a game where you think you are playing while you are exercising. Also, 'serious' isnt a word you could apply to that...
Explain something to me, if EA made EAFit message boards would be flooded with "OMG, EA STEEL IDEAS!!!!!!" but Namco do it and are exempt?

But this isn't exactly stolen....I don't think they started making this after Wii fit was announced as that was only like 3 months ago - i think wii fit just happened to be announced earlier...and a fitness game would be the obvious non game for wii since everything else has been done 10 times over already...this looks okay but i think the wii balance board trounces this.

Wonder how many more "fitness" games will pop up now.
Forgive me for actually talking about this game. I think the games that have been showcased actually look pretty damn fun. I can see there are a few bugs, and the whole "jumping" thing needs some tweaking. Doesn't bother me at all if they're viewed as making a Wii Fit "Clone". The more the merrier, I say!
Actually, doesn't look like they copied the Wii Fit, they copied the Power Pad, for those who remember it. Then again all gaming pads stole this, how could they not? Power Pad pwns ALL! Except maybe the Wii Fit board, that looks pretty good. Though I have to agree with Simon here, I think I've seen this even before I even heard of Wii Fit, unless my psychosis is kicking in again...

He's not dead, he's electroencephalographically challenged.
I very much doubt you will be able to run on the Wii Fit board so it's hardly a clone. I think this would be great for Mario and Sonic at the Olympics looking at the hurdle video but such support is unlikely. I can see Namco making some good games for this down the line, but this one does not look like one, even if it is fun.
