Nintendo Wii Media | First House of the Dead Screenshots

It's Zombie time! Sega have revealed the first screenshots of the recently confirmed revival of the House of the Dead series on the Wii.

  • Features single-player campaign and two player co-op play.
  • Arcade mode and time attack mode are examples of 6 different game modes.

    "THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD franchise has been revamped for today's gamer looking for fast-paced shooting action on the Wii. Utilising the new Wii Zapper, the player can get the renowned light gun experience in their own home."

    yeah u can say that again... well at least the game is cool... lets hope these are screens for the 2nd one and hopefully the 3rd looks better... please SEGA, please!! but if its fun... it better be so that we don't realise these N64 graphics..

    These games look exactly like they did 5+ years ago. I think HotD 2 is close to 10 years old now. I believe HotD 3 was an XBOX exclusive. I still think they should have included the first one.

    *lol* Almost all of the screens are from HoD 2 I think. Either way, I know them well. They look exactly like the ones on the arcade. EXACTLY! And that was 10 years ago! Almost.

    *lol* Look at the brick wall behind the axe-and-no-axe zombies: You can actually count the pixels of the texture!!! that's poor, very poor


    I hate Wii being bullied for it's lousy graphics (MP3, SMG anyone?), that's why I start to get angry when games like that, Cruisin' and monster 4x4 get released.

    they need to update the graphics on HotD2 or i wont get the title at all even if it comes with HotD3.

    Meh, I'm not getting it anyway, but they could at least try. It just makes me feel a bit of shame to be a Wii Supporter/owner. :-/

    Mario Galaxy with a suitable amount of lag (almost none) is possible on Wii... so why can't anyone else do that? I mean FFS.

    Chill Winston! There's obviously just been a PR balls-up where some joker wrote 'Wii' instead of 'DS'. That is the only logical explanation.

    Those textures look a lot higher rez than what I remember from the arcade machine. The HotD games have always been the worst looking games of all time and always will be.

    I think the textures look ever so slightly improved, but it's not going to win any beauty contests. The games are great though, so if they translate them well, visuals aside...fine by me.

    Oh come on. they can at least put some effort into redoing some of the textures and some of the models - I mean 1/2 the time you see the same zombie you shot 10 mins prior.
