DS | 花と太陽と雨と (With flowers, sun and rain) is Goichi Suda's PS2 game that basically bombed in Japan and was never even considered for a Western release. This and The Silver Case (think that's the name, anyway - whatever, it's the sequel) are both set for DS and Suda's even said there's a strong chance of them being translated this time Smilie

    Cheers for the update Jorge!

No More Heroes 9889 -- Impressive, sorta feared it would suck.

I am well stoked I will finally be able to get it for my SUDA collection Smilie, and on the DS of all things!. The last time I went to Japan I could not find a copy despite trying at all the big game stores.

Silver case/Silver Jiken is a game I need to have also and I am looking forward to seeing the DS game which will be better from what Suda51 has said about it.

Currently I already have Blood+ One Night Kiss, Samurai Champloo U.S, Killer 7, Contact, and soon to be NMH. And Fatal Frame IV I guess also when it releases in Q1 2010.

If they brought B+ One Night Kiss (flawed masterpiece) to the DS also I would be happy to buy that too, if they could fix the controls which require extreme dexterity. It was a shame there was nothing like the Wii controls then to really make that game work as well as it should have.

I am glad that NMH a "western style" game got such a good score from Famitsu- 9889, they usually reserve such scores for RPG as we know well. I am really looking forward to it getting western reviews to confirm what I think. The crowd at TGS loved the basic mechanics so it very promising. It is the spiritual successor to B+ONK and with the controls it should have had.

    Flawed genius-

If they brought this over also on the DS I would go la la happy.

I've always wanted to teach cavemen how to eat meat.

Very much looking foward to Tales of Innocence now, this one better make it over here.Smilie

No More Heroes gets good scores!! It's not style over substance after all!! Woohoo! We have ourselves an exclusive AAA third party title ladies and gentlemen!

And yeah, bloody fantastic scores for Tales Of Innocence. I have to get these two games.

Ive been looking forward to Tales of Innocence, i'm glad to see it scored so high. I've been a bit more reserved about No More Heroes because i didn't really get in to Killer 7. But i might check it out now it got such a good score.

Linkyshinks i'm so jealous of you going to Japan. I've always wanted to go.

My elder brother is married to a Japanese girl, as a consequence I have been two times so far. I love it and fully intend on going back as much as possible when it's OK for me to stay. It's all very expensive in Tokyo, if you think London is bad you are in for a shock. Anyone can go and make a little money if they have some skills in the English language to impart, there are a few agencies that can find work for Brits who wish to stay and work.

If you ever go here is a guide to getting to Nintendo

Kenji the old beggar lives here. Miyamoto always stops by on his bycycle to say hello every morning. He also gives him some food parcels.

Nintendo's main office sits across from a rice paddy Smilie. The company is tucked away in the Kyoto suburbs. For some, taking this trip might be a pilgrimage. Others, it might satisfy some curiosity.

    Directions:

From JR Kyoto Station take the JR Nara Line and get off at Tofukuji Station. It's the next station, and the ticket should cost only 140-150 yen.

    Image for

At Tofukuji Station, follow the signs for the Keihan Line. A series of corridors and winding staircases take you directly towards the platform. Buy a 150-160 yen ticket and get off at Tobakaidou Station. It's directly after Tofukuji on the Keihan Line.

Exit Tobakaidou Station and turn right. There will be a coffee shop, where you should hang another right and head down a same residential street. Follow the street until you reach a white wall. This is the company's research center.

Double back to the coffee shop and turn right again, moving in the opposite direction of the station. Head down the street, crossing a small bridge. Continue walking straight on this street (called Jyuujou Dori).

Go straight several blocks until you come to the other bridge, say hello to the beggar upon the bridge, he has been there for thirty years blessing people. Give him 5Yen and cross. If your really nice you will have a food parcel of rice ready for him.

Keep heading down the street until you come to a pachinko parlor (avoid, Yakuza run). Turn left. The name of this small street is "Shin Machi Dori."

Pass a ramshackle karaoke parlor and several run-down apartment buildings. On your left, you will see a large, white building, Nintendo's HQ.

Go one day if you ever visit Japan.

It's not like I waited outside for Miyamoto to turn up on his Bicycle. Anyway I lost the umbrella I bought from a vending machine at JR Kyoto Station so it would not have been fun waiting around.
