Race Driver Beats Off Stiff Competition
The Firebrand Games-developed Nintendo DS hit, Race Driver: Create and Race, published by Codemasters, has been awarded the Best DS Driving/Racing game of 2007 in the IGN annual awards.

Flower, Sun and Rain Dated for Japan
Quick News - Marvelous Interactive has now confirmed that the Nintendo DS port of Grasshopper Manufacture's adventure game 'Flower, Sun and Rain' will hit Japan on 6th March, 2008. Check out recent screenshots of the game below:

Full DS Downloads NOT Coming to Wii
Recently the New York Times published an article about an interview it held with Reggie Fils-Aime in which he supposedly stated full DS games could be downloaded on Wii. Simply it was wrong information.

Midway Chairman Replaced
It has been revealed that Midway, maker of recent games such as Mortal Kombat DS and Cruis'n Wii, has seen a change in its top personnel, with the Board's Chairman resigning.

Harvest Moon Hits Euro Virtual Console
The latest update has now hit the European Virtual Console retro download service for Wii, with just one title bringing in the New Year: Harvest Moon from the SNES.

Quick News - The popular wireless GameCube controller, WaveBird, may be out of stock for good, according to a Nintendo customer services representative that stated they had not heard of plans for stock to be replenished.

No Rock Band on Wii...Yet
Quick News - EA has again been quizzed about Rock Band on Wii, to which it responded, 'We have not announced any plans for a Wii version at this time.' Past comments from Harmonix CEO Alex Rigopulos point towards it eventually happening, though.
