Nibris Confirms Focus Solely on Sadness (Nintendo Wii)

By Adam Riley 14.04.2008 7

Speaking with Cubed3 today, Nibris has confirmed a few details people might have been wondering about. Recently there was an announcement that 'The Bloober Team' is working hard on a new WiiWare title called 'Last Flight'. Included in the report, though, was mention of Nibris' two Nintendo DS projects, Double Bloob and ROTR, which caused some confusion.

According to the Polish outfit, The Bloober Team is not working with Nibris and is "right now apart from us". However, the pleasing vertical shooter ROTR and quaint puzzle effort Double Bloob have not actually been sold, despite mixed reports across the Internet. The Bloober Team does have the rights for both games, though, with Nibris focusing solely on Sadness for Wii at the moment.

Finally, if anyone was unsure whether or not Nibris had any involvement in the Last Flight project, then the simple answer was 'No'.

Hopefully that put any recent questions to rest...

sooo... What does that mean for Double Bloob? And who is Team Bloober?

It may be good to hear that Nibris are so focused (focussed?) on Sadness, because this game is so big it takes all their manpower - at least, that's what I think.

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

Focused, Smilie

Also, I'm happy that they've outsourced, but with all of the vaporware suggestions going around currently, the game just cannot afford to be crud. =/

Sadness is still in development? Wow I thought that was still just a dream i had.

Does seem like this game will never come out...

With this focus on just Sadness, lets hope that this increases the chance that this game will not get scrapped.
