My Wii Has Arrived!

Its stuck in game with my name on it.
I asked if I could collect it early... apparently not.

Anyone else got theirs confirmed?

Confirmed from Gameplay but not Game. Should be receiving mine between 9am and 6pm on Friday, but I'm not sure how Parcel Force works when there's no-one in...

You'll get a "sorry, you weren't in" note, and it'll go to the nearest depot.

I would leave a note on your door telling the delivery man to try a neighbour; or leave your garage door open for him to leave it there?

Yeah, my Wii is sitting with my name on it at Game.

Also got Call of Duty 3 through the post, been quite a wii-tastic day!

Ive had bad experiances with that actually Mart. I usualy get it sent to my parents work, or just go collect it, its easier. I mean u dont want ur nosey neighbours unpacking and playying ur wii do u?

How do you's lot know this ?

Game still haven't even rang me to ask me if I want to pre-order anything. I hear the majority of other people got called though.

I just rang up gamestation to confirm the package i wanted yesterday

Zelda:TP

Woolworths have taken my money, so as far as I know I'm going to be able to pick one up straight away on Friday at 9AM.

I just turn up with a printed receipt of my order and voila... they stopped taking orders once their allocation ran out so they know how many their getting.

Thus as long as I get in my local store early I see no reason why I can't get one.

I was 44th to Pre-Order the console (I pre-ordered on the second day of the first window in GAME).

Friends who got like positions 79 and 94 (I think), were called about game and accessory pre-orders.

I did get the slip saying i'd get a Wii on launch day, as well as the funky little gift card to go with it.
However, the fact that these people actually received a phone call asking if:

a) They wanted to pre-order games / accessories; and
b) That their console is in the shop ready to be picked up

... is worrying me, as I didn't get a call

I'm just being paranoid. I hope.

Aww...this is not good. This means they'll call my home adress...seeing as that's where the note and card thing were sent...so...my parents'll answer and goodness knows what they'll say.

Got mine confirmed from gamestation for launch. But they don't know what games and accessories there getting in yet

From what I gather they phoned people from the 1st order to last, so you'll be OK. You should probably be more worried about what bundles are left...

Unfortunately not. I have absoloutely no way to contact my parents. I'll just have to hope they can figure out what it is on their own. Eh, fingers crossed.

Uh.. don't think so.

My ma preordered it ages ago, and recently phoned up and cancelled it to pre-order another package. Then we got 2 warranties through the door, so I'm assuming they forgot to cancel the first order.

GAME phones me late last week, they were just saying that I definitely had a Wii held back for me (not sure if it was in the shop or not) & they asked me if they wanted me to hold back any games, I said Wii Play & Zelda, although I prolly won't be getting Zelda now, but they did it anyway.

So, I'm all set for Friday morning, going down to town at 6am to arrive at GAME at 7. Gonna buy some stuff. Some manga, Yoshi's Island DS, & anything else I want
