Sonic Colours Playable at Summer of Sonic on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The Annual SEGA and Sonic fanfest, Summer of Sonic, will be showcasing a playable demos of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 and Colours.

The team announced that the E3 versions of both games will be made available to those who attend the convention in London next month. Both Sweet Mountain and Tropical resort will be playable with Sonic's new, optional, powers available for speed runners.

I kind of lost interest after all the average Sonic titles we've had over the last decade.

The only home console Sonic that i found to be near good was Sonic Adventure 2, and it was released a long time ago.

Sonic's at a potential turning point now.

With Sonic The Hedgehog 4 - A classic sidescroller that was delayed for the sake of improvement, the first time that's happened to a Sonic game since forever. SEGA are taking it seriously.

Sonic Colours - Taking the best bits of 3D Sonic of recent years, and having absolutely no shitty gimmicks on top.

They're looking very promising right now!

Hard to believe that Summer of Sonic, an independent Sonic fan event organized by a random (but extremely popular) Sonic fansite, gets so much lovely backing from SEGA. Including playable versions of upcoming games!
