Become Samus in the Miitomo x Metroid Collaboration on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Metroid turns 30 this year and to help celebrate special Metroid themed items have come to Miitomo. Players can get a variety of clothing items and accessories to dress up as the ultimate Metroid fan, a Galactic Federation Marine, or even Samus herself.

Previous Nintendo themed events have included Splatoon and The Legend of Zelda promotions as well as a range of summer Nintendo-themed t-shirts.

Free to all users is the Metroid hat and 8-bit Samus tee. The Metroid hat can be redeemed from My Nintendo for 0 Platinum Points while the t-shirt can be claimed from the in-app Gift Box.

Four different colored variations of the Mech suits used by Galactic Federation marines, as seen in the recently released Metroid Prime: Federation Force, are available to redeem for Platinum Points on My Nintendo. Helmets and suits are both 50 points each. A Metroid logo t-shirt is also available for 200 Platinum Points.

Does anyone still "play" this? I forgot all about it.

I just play it for the MyNintendo points mostly, and to help others get their points too by giving them comments and hearts.
