Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia - First Trailer

Konami have released the first trailer and gameplay footage from the upcoming installment of Castlevania on DS.

Order of Ecclesia is the third outing for the franchise on Nintendo's portable, blending classic gameplay with a female touch.

The game is due out this autumn in Japan.

I love the outdoor environments (town, forest).

Looks really good - smooth animation and good sprite work. Not too fond of the voice though! Will bound to become really irritating.

Who else feels it's about time for a proper sequel to Symphony of the Night? A good old-fashioned 2D "metroid-vania" on the Wii with this art style and 720p original artwork downsized to 480p?
