Taiko Drum on 3DS, Get Help from a Dragon on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The latest issue of Famitsu magazine has also revealed a first look at a new entry in the Taiko Drum Master series for 3DS.

Entitled Taiko Drum Master: Little Dragon and the Mysterious Orb, the game features a host of brand new tunes to tap along to with the same addictive rhythmic gameplay seen in its older brothers. However a significant change is the inclusion of a nifty adventure mode feature featuring, you've guessed it, a rather adorable little dragon. According to Andriasang, Don-chan and his new companion set out to beat enemies across seven kingdoms.

If adventuring isn't in your musical vocabulary, there will still be the usual host of modes and options available for the pick-up and play Taiko Drum enthusiast.

The game will hit Japanese stores in July 12th.

If only 3DS wasn't region locked... this game will never see the light of day outside of Japan which is a shame really, because it's a great series.

Iiiiiiineressstiiinng...?? Strange concept but this IS a Taico game so borderline Katamari weirdness is expected. Still I wonder how it'll pick up the double hit since the 3DS only has one touch cencory. Guess you'd tap on the left & right edges of the screen & the center for a double hit.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422
