Awesome news if you ask me. Looks a lot different to PW and AJ, in the investigation parts anyway. Should be good nonetheless.

Pro Prosecutor sounds about right to me. Wouldn't surprise me if that's what they did call it.

C3\'s newsie says \"Perfect Prosecutor\" which would make sense given Edgeworth/von Karma\'s previous view on being a prosecutor. Obviously Edgeworth has changed since then, and I guess Franziska has too.

Pro Prosecutor just sounds better though.

Sooo...I was coming home from Uni today...and I saw my bus pull off without me...and I thought, \"Hey, 20 minutes till the next one, gives me time to withdraw �30 for my next Frio. And I can go buy manga with the change.\" So after a trip to the cash machine, I wandered off to Forbidden Planet, �35 in hand. I know, a foolish, foolish thing to do. XD I checked out the DS games before the manga. And I saw it. It sat, glowing with a beautiful aura, with it\'s sleek black case of US import-ness. �30 new. There was nothing to think about. Nothing to consider. I am now the proud owner of ACE ATTORNEY: APOLLO JUSTICE. HELL. YES.

I've never been to a Forbidden Planet that does games before

I think Perfect Prosecutor is...perfect. I\'m REALLY looking forward to it. For some reason people seem to be thinking this means the end of Apollo Justice and any possible sequels starring them, but I think this is totally wrong; I\'m sure they said they were currently developing number 5 and doing this spin off - it\'s clearly not in the same style, so I\'m not sure how this has got into peoples\' minds.

I can\'t really see Edgeworth splitting off into his own series and reckon this is probably a one off, but it would be interesting to see them effectively run two series out of one franchise and maintain the level of quality.

When do we think this is set? I think it\'s either just after Ace Attorney 3 or running alongside the first three games. Don\'t see it crossing with AA4 unless they\'re in a different area/country.

I thought all Forbidden Planets did games now!

I'm really looking forward to it too, Edgeworth is insanely popular, but he deserves it really, 2 of my favourite characters starring in a spin-off game, Edgey & Gumshoe!

I don't think it'll be set alongside/around Apollo Justice, they look the same age, I think it'll be after Phoenix Wright 3. I hope Franziska pops out, and I have no doubt that there will be court sections... So who will be the defense attorneys? Maybe we'll see a younger Kristoph? I can also see it becoming a whole series TBH, maybe with a different character each time, (Franny! <3) I mean the gameplay looks too original to be a one off.

Oh yeah, I also think the name is lame. I sure hope the final western name isn't "Perfect Prosecutor". It had better be "Miles Edgeworth: Pro Prosecutor" Or.... something that doesn't have more than... too many syllables... or big words...

I can't justify that, "Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney" is 9 syllables...

Oh, also, this is what it says about GS5 on Wiki:

Gyakuten Saiban 5, the next installment in the Gyakuten Saiban (Ace Attorney) series, was announced by Capcom's president on May 22, 2007 with no further detail. It is not known whether Gyakuten Kenji and Gyakuten Saiban 5 are being developed simultaneously.

If it's Perfect Prosecutor it would have to take place before Ace Attorney, no?

And I'm not sure it's fair to call it a spin-off just yet. I'm sure it'll be basically the same idea as Phoenix Wright just the investigation parts we've seen so far are a bit more point-and-click-y.

Sweet! Looks pretty awesome, I liked the remix of his theme song.

I think I noticed a few more characters in that zoomy character bit.

EDIT: Just went to Court Records (Basically the #1 Ace Attorney fansite) and it seems they have a bit more that we havn\'t heard. I guess collective eyes have gathered a list of characters from that trailer.

EDIT2: Also a bit of bad news (for me) it seems like there won\'t be any trial sections in this game. I wanted to play as a Prosecutor is court D:

Well hello everyone on the forums O: I made an account just to post about my opinion regarding the PW series and the AJ game

The Perfect Prosecutor game looks actually nice - i'll be first in line to buy it. Though I must say... if it delays the AJ trilogy (I think I read somewhere they'll be making a trilogy) that'll make me angry. And boy, the story is amazing, but..

Yes I have, I completed the AJ game and all of the PW series..sadly Im replaying them all again and it's ok, but it ain't the same.

Yeah, I don't see why Mason thinks that either XD I just don't think Phoenix would ever take that road. He knows it doesn't suit him.
